How fast can we begin sorting?

We typically offer 1 hour or less emergency response time to prevent line shut down situations and get your job started right away.

Why Choose RC Engine Service?

2. Our staff consists of experienced sort technicians and engine repair mechanics. We do not use temporary hire agencies for our sorting staff unless the magnitude of the sort requires it.
3. We typically offer 1 hour or less emergency response time to prevent line shut down situations and get your job started right away.
4. We offer detailed reporting on every job we complete so that our suppliers have all the important information they require.
5. We have mobile tool sets and equipment to complete rework and services at your location. We also have a local facility, to sort parts at our location as needed.

What is the cost for sorting, rework or inspection?

Standard Emergency Service Rate: $80 per hour

Because we have a full-time workstation in the Volvo facility and our staff has engine service or quality service background, our current standard service rate in the Volvo plant is $80 per hour. This price was developed in collaboration with the Volvo Quality Team. Standard service rate is Monday through Friday 7am until 3pm. There are additional charges for nights and weekends (1.5x rate), as well as holidays and Sunday’s (2x standard rate). All new sorts have a 2 hr. Minimum setup charge that helps cover meeting and administration time that is required prior to the actual sort beginning.

For pre-planned long-term sorts contact us and a price per piece can be negotiated to lower the overall sort and inspection costs.
